How to play Copycat Challenge
Copycat Challenge is the drawing game that proves nobody can actually draw. A famous painting or iconic photo flashes on screen for five seconds, memorize as much as you can. Then it disappears, and every player draws the image from memory on their own private canvas for 90 seconds. Nobody sees your drawing until the gallery reveal. When the time is up, all the copies appear side by side and the room votes for the Most Recognizable, the Funniest, and the Most Abstract masterpiece.
Rules & scoring
There's no guessing and no shared canvas, this game is pure art chaos. Each player votes once per award category, and you can't vote for your own drawing. After the votes land, the awards ceremony crowns three winners: one for accuracy, one for comedy, and one for pure interpretive genius. The bragging rights are the real prize.
Tips to win (or at least be funny)
During the five-second reveal, memorize the image's strongest shapes: the skyline, the smile, the swirls. On your canvas, start with the biggest shapes and fill in details last. If you can't draw it, draw it badly on purpose, the Funniest and Most Abstract awards exist for a reason. The best strategy in a big group is to commit fully to one approach: either a serious tribute or a full cartoon.
