Information We Collect
TriviaHub is designed to work without an account. When you play, we collect only what is needed to run the games, such as your chosen nickname, game scores, and room participation. If you choose to create an account, we also store the email address connected to that account. If you turn on Daily Challenge reminders, we store your selected frequency and browser-reported time zone so the messages arrive at the time you requested. We do not collect payment information.
Advertising
TriviaHub does not currently serve advertising. We do not use advertising partners, ad cookies, or advertising-specific third-party trackers. If advertising is introduced in the future, this policy will be updated before any ads appear, and we will describe the advertising partners, any cookies or similar technologies they use, and how you can control them here.
Analytics
If you select Accept analytics, TriviaHub loads Google Analytics to measure aggregate site traffic and understand how visitors use the site. Google Analytics is not loaded when you reject non-essential cookies. Google processes analytics data on our behalf in line with its own privacy policy. Google Analytics does not serve advertising on TriviaHub, which remains ad-free.
Cookies and Browser Storage
Essential storage keeps accounts signed in, remembers your cookie choice, and records completed Daily Trivia dates so the same browser cannot submit another attempt. Daily scores and recent activity may also stay in your browser. Rejecting non-essential cookies does not disable these features.
Third-Party Services
We use service providers to host the site, deliver account and opted-in reminder emails, and measure aggregate usage when you accept analytics. These providers process only the information needed to provide their service under their own privacy terms. We do not sell your personal information.
Children’s Privacy
TriviaHub is intended for users aged 16 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your Choices
You can change your analytics preference at any time using Cookie choices in the site footer. Daily Challenge reminder emails are off unless you explicitly turn them on. You can change their frequency or stop them from your profile, and every reminder includes a one-click unsubscribe link. You also control your nickname and can stop playing at any time.
