How to play Charades
TriviaHub Charades keeps the classic game exactly as it should be: one actor, one secret movie title, one very enthusiastic team. The actor's device shows the title in large letters, the team cannot see it. The actor mimes, the team shouts, and anyone taps 'Got it!' the moment the title is guessed. Each correct guess in the 60-second window earns the team a point, then the phone passes to the next actor. Hollywood, Bollywood, or Mixed, you pick the category before you start.
Rules & scoring
The team earns one point per correct title guessed before the 60-second timer runs out. Timeouts score zero and rotate to the next actor anyway. Every player acts once per rotation, and the final team score is the total correct guesses. The movie bank holds 300 titles split between Hollywood and Bollywood, from Marvel blockbusters to Shah Rukh Khan classics.
Tips to win
Agree on signals before you start: the classic finger-count for syllables and the 'sounds like' ear-tug save rounds. Act the title, not the plot, the team needs the words, not the subtext. If a movie stumps you, mime a single iconic scene; one recognizable image beats five vague gestures. And keep the phone angled so the title stays hidden, the team will look.
