How to play Guess Who? Celebrity Edition
Choose Solo to start immediately. Each game deals five secret celebrities from a pool covering music, movies, television, sport, science, technology, politics, and more. Read the traits and career clues, watch letters appear as the 60-second timer runs down, then type the full name or surname. A correct answer reveals the celebrity and adds one to your score.
Play solo or with friends
Solo mode needs no room, account, or opponent. Pick a category and identify five celebrities at your own pace against the round timer. For a party, switch to Play with friends, create a room, and share the six-character code. Everyone sees the same clue and can submit a guess from their own device while the server keeps the secret answer hidden until the reveal.
Clues, hints, and scoring
Every round begins with the full name hidden. One random letter appears every 10 seconds. For short names with six or fewer letters, a letter appears every 20 seconds instead, so the answer does not become obvious too early. The full name appears only after a correct guess or when time runs out. Wrong guesses do not end the round, so use the profession, nationality, age range, famous work, and fact clues to narrow the answer. Each correct celebrity scores one point, and the final result shows how many of the five you identified.
